NEWS 02.09.2022 Harvest is there! We harvested a summer and saved it in a book @the countryside

NEWS 30.09.2021 We are now collecting all summerschools’ 1 – 3 materials: from pictures to drawings, from notes to essays, sculptures and sketches, columns and impressional quotes. Here some first impressions

NEWS 18.08.2021 Summerschool Three (6th – 15th August) is over. A short sad feeling was at the nearly empty Vorort, but there were thoughts and memories about/on: art – food – the outdoor kitchen events – talks – research – holzvorratmaking – thinking – ausstellung – swims – lecture – Kino – cleaning – vj-ing – vernissage – gartenarbeit – walks – harvesting – papier-mache-ing etc ……

…. and the follow up with Summerschools’ research will be published in the close future. Again more knowledge was added to our research results from the first two summerschools. Our focus on technology, citizenship and the countryside seemed to work out quite well. Expected and unexpected cultural museum visits to Ludwigslust took place. #wendorfacademy would like to say a warm thank you to all participants of the third summerschool. #MVtutgut Good to have your footsteps here.

NEWS 03.08.2021 Summerschool Three (6th – 15th August) goes ahead. We will add more knowledge to our research results from the first two summerschools. It will be a social experiment in combining the best talents of all participants. We focus on technology, citizenship and the countryside as an #anti-urbanism phenomenon. Still little dizzy from the good collective atmosphere at the second summerschool, #wendorfacademy expresses a big thanx to our participants from China and Russia, Austria, Germany and the Netherlands. We hope #Mecklenburg-Vorpommern now gained a small place in your hearts and minds. Please follow us for future’s sake here at Instagram

NEWS 14.07.2021 Summerschool Two (16th – 25th July) in full preparation. While harvest around us is in full 24/7 hrs-action, students from Europe and Asia will come and research, build and perform around the theme Food and food production.

NEWS 28.06.2021 Summerschool One (18th – 27th June) was in action, and goes on into the extended present and near and distant future! Thanks* to all the energy from locals, globals, participants, organizers, performers, this first Summerschool was special and interesting! We very much look forward to our second summerschool. We still take singular applications for this second summerschool (16th – 25th July), be quick and write us a mail when interested, few places left. Third is fully booked:)

NEWS 09.06.2021 Preparations for three diverse summerschools are going strong. With research; building; design; thinking. Every summerschool will be different, with humanic energy from a.o.: Renee Tribble; all participating students; Christopher Dell; Outdoor Kitchen Cooking; Marten Kuijpers; Shaun the Sheep; Florian Gwinner; Wem gehört das Dorf; Martijntje Smits; Palma Mallorca …..

For second and third summerschools singular applications are taken into consideration, so just write us a mail when interested!

NEWS 17.05.2021: apply as soon as possible for the remaining places at our summerschools. June is already fully booked:)

Summerschool July will take place from 16th July to 25th July. Summerschool in August from 6th – 15th August.

Do you like to build, design and think? Do you like research? Times are tough but we work ahead to realize these super summerschools. Summerschools are open to students from different disciplinary and international backgrounds. With lots of space to experience our 2021 topic “@the countryside” Groups are kept small to #staysafe, we practice regular testing. Don’t forget to apply soon, see the poster for details.
